Acknowledged for merging her country’s ancestral heritage with the latest trends, Paola Gamero is a Peruvian designer whose collections have been presented at major events such as LIF-Week Peru, Vancouver Fashion Week, Mastercard Toronto Fashion Week and New York City.

After graduating in Business Administration at the University of Lima, Paola studied Fashion Design at the Marangoni Institute of Milan and in the Fashion Institute of Technology (New York), two of the most prestigious academies in this métier.

In 2013, upon her return from Italy, Paola established her own brand to design nightdresses and wedding gowns with diverse fabrics imported from Europe. Hand embroidery and natural silk are predominant in her first creations.

Paola Gamero is currently working with traditional materials such as alpaca and cotton, supplied by local artisans. With the use of organic textiles in pullovers, coats, shawls and other garments, Paola explores Peruvian identity in her new prêt-à-porter line.
